This week I finished up the chair part of the Gokart and then I just came to my senses and kinda gave up on the Gokart because I wouldn't have finished. So now I'm making a chair, I'm not really sure how I want it to look, all I know is that I want it to be litt!! The next step is to work on the handles, I'm trying to make cup holders. But because making cup holders ain't easy, I decided to make a duplicate to fix my errors and mistakes for next time. The only trouble I think Im having now is the cupholders.

Continuation of heart filled with love Description:  This week I researched the best way it would be able to present the picture in the circle. I laminated the picture for protection. I cut out a circle of acrylic to place on top of the picture. Next week hopefully I will gluing everything together. Strengths:  This week I took my time for the little things. This heart is a gift so I want to put time and effort into it. I also think I cut out acrylic well, I was scared about cracking the whole thing but I did pretty good. Weaknesses:  My weakness is that I am my biggest critic. I want this to be perfect but I try not to stress. This week I continued working on the GoKart. I mainly worked on the seat. I measured the type of angle I wanted and the next step is to attach everything together. A challenge I had was that I didn't know how to measure the angle of the seat but I eventually figured it out and did the Pythagorean theorem. I cut and measured the peices really well. I thinnk its going to come together pretty good. Next week I will be putting the chair together .

1/14/18 Art Analysis: Alexa Meade "Reverse Trompe-L'Oeil"     Alexa Meade is a well-known artist who is best recognized for her portraits painted directly on the human body having them appear two-deminsional. She calls her style of painting "Reverse Trompe-L'Oeil" because traditional Trompe-L'Oeil tricks the eye into thinking 2-D art is 3-D.
