Art Analysis; Shadowology A rtist Vincent Bal, brings life to all different shadows of every and any kind of object. "Shadowology is the very scientific name that I gave my silly drawings" Bal says". "It's the science of discovering all the things that are hidden in the shadows. AAll these creatures and these things that we don't see. With shadowology you can make them visible." Vincent Bal created this type of art by a coincidence. He took a break while working on a film script and bam, a new perspective of art. "I was writing and I saw a shadow on my desk of a little teacup I had bought in Vietnam," Bal explains. "And it looked like an elephant. So I drew a couple of lines and I thought it was pretty cool so I took a picture and I shared it on Instagram and Facebook. Normally my Instagram posts would get like 20 likes. And this one got like 150 likes. I was really surprised

This week I finished up the chair part of the Gokart and then I just came to my senses and kinda gave up on the Gokart because I wouldn't have finished. So now I'm making a chair, I'm not really sure how I want it to look, all I know is that I want it to be litt!! The next step is to work on the handles, I'm trying to make cup holders. But because making cup holders ain't easy, I decided to make a duplicate to fix my errors and mistakes for next time. The only trouble I think Im having now is the cupholders.

This week I was woring on the handle and rehearsing lines. I didn't make much progress on the chair, but cutting out pieces of wood because I am still thinking about how to design it. I worked on my lines with Justin while he held the paper and said the other persons part, while I just said my lines without looking at the paper. So far I think my lines are going pretty well, I think I have to spend more time working on them. I have to work on the second one more with Andrea because I'm less familiar with them. I made more accurate cuts with the chair which I was pretty happy about because it makes life easier when you do it right the first time. Something I want to work on is staying on track and not get distracted because when I get distracted it masses up my whole though process and it takes more time to redirect me. This week I dont think I did too well, I think I should've kept myself and Jason on task more.

Although this week we barely had school this week, I worked on some more on the chair. I got the measurements of the handle, I just have to put it together. I think the seat is coming together really well. The support is kind of off but it will be better as I keep building. The struggle is figuring out the comfort level of the seat and the handles. I think I could do better in this class I just gotta work harder and stay in the zone.

This week I worked on the chair. I attached the bottom with glue and staples, it is somewhat stable. The chair will be more stable when I add handles. I think the chair is coming out pretty good but I just need to work a little faster. Something that didn't do well is staple the chair, it's kind of hard but practice makes perfect. Next week I have work on the handles to add more structure. This week I also worked on the play with beina. We rehearsed our lines and practiced the script.

This week I worked on the chair. I had to make sure that the back was sturdy and had a lot of support. I used the stapler for the first time, I don't like it because it's mad work to take out and put away just to do one simple thing. I also hate measuring because if you are a centimeter off, the whole thing could be off. Next Week i will work on the bottom half of the chair. I got to make arms and attach the bottom. I think in the future I gotta work on more precise measurements.

This week I continued working on the GoKart. I mainly worked on the seat. I measured the type of angle I wanted and the next step is to attach everything together. A challenge I had was that I didn't know how to measure the angle of the seat but I eventually figured it out and did the Pythagorean theorem. I cut and measured the peices really well. I thinnk its going to come together pretty good. Next week I will be putting the chair together .
