This week I worked on the Haunted House. My room is the bug room and it's basically a room that is gonna have the illusion that bug are all over you. So far al I did was brainstorm ideas and take measurements the next step is to go on amazon and see what we need. Something that went well is the ideas that flowed. 1/14/18 Art Analysis: Alexa Meade "Reverse Trompe-L'Oeil" Alexa Meade is a well-known artist who is best recognized for her portraits painted directly on the human body having them appear two-deminsional. She calls her style of painting "Reverse Trompe-L'Oeil" because traditional Trompe-L'Oeil tricks the eye into thinking 2-D art is 3-D. Alexa paints over people and objects and makes it look 2-D. Alexa's work is a combination between installation and phot ography. "It's really this 3-D world that we're so accustomed to, but just with a little bit of tweaking on it, it appears like so mething completely foreign. It feels like the world of a two-dimensional painti ng and something we have such a hard time wrapping our heads around," says Alexa.
