Janea's Room 13 Portfolio

This week I was working on the door for Mr. Arthurs softball stuff. I don't usually paint but I think I did good. Beina messed up the "S" so I had to fix it. I think I did the project and precise, it's not perfect but Im trying because when it goes up there is has room 13 name on it so I'm not trying to mess up. I'm kinda on a deadline so hopefully I have it done by next week. One thing I struggle with its trying to paint faster and more precise. I even stayed during lunch to try and get everything done.This week I think I did good, I kinda left Jason to finish the sig. But we will continue the GoKart when we come back from break.

This week Jason and I was working a GoKart. We mainly just did a whole bunch of research, on what we want it to look like, How it is going to work, and the mechanics of everything. Next week I hope we start building it. It might take a little while because I have to put in an order of items we need. Hopefully while we waiting for the items of the GoKart we receive the items of the potato clock, Jason is so eager to work on. This week I should've kept Jason on task more. I Think I was doing good research and had good ideas I just didn't know how to place it together.

This week Jason and I was planning to start building a potato clock but since We don't have the supplies we have to wait for Rukia to buy the stuff that we have ordered. Until we get the stuff we started to outline our GoKart. So far we worked on the measurements and how it would be built. This week started off a little slow but we got alot done. The GoKart is a big project that I will be working on with Jason so there will be a lot of errors. On top of that I think we are one of the first or if not the first in a long time that will be creating something so awesome. A struggle we kind of had was with the measurements because we wasnt sure How big to make it in a way to fit the both of us.

Haunted House This week I didn't really do much, me and Justin are brainstorm how to make a potato clock.  Last week I worked on the haunted house. I had to create a room with Justin. I think the room was a success-ish. I think we could've put more into it but I am satisfied with it. I think the good thing about it is that it got a few people but other people just didn't really see the spiders that were on the wall. During the first night of the haunted house me and Justin was in the office talking about life and then I helped desire a little bit with the senior fundraiser. I also went around the haunted house seeing if anyone needed help or something to drink. The second night I came a little late because I was at work and I was a scarer and I also helped out with being a guide. Overall I think the haunted house was a success. I might have to get kept back to do it again next year :)

This week I worked on the Haunted House. My room is the bug room and it's basically a room that is gonna have the illusion that bug are all over you. So far al I did was brainstorm ideas and take measurements the next step is to go on amazon and see what we need. Something that went well is the ideas that flowed. I think it is gonna be a really good room. There hasn't been a struggle yet really. This week I think I did okay. I have been dragging a little bit I feel

Continuation of heart filled with love Description:  This week I researched the best way it would be able to present the picture in the circle. I laminated the picture for protection. I cut out a circle of acrylic to place on top of the picture. Next week hopefully I will gluing everything together. Strengths:  This week I took my time for the little things. This heart is a gift so I want to put time and effort into it. I also think I cut out acrylic well, I was scared about cracking the whole thing but I did pretty good. Weaknesses:  My weakness is that I am my biggest critic. I want this to be perfect but I try not to stress. How did I do This week?: This week I think I did pretty well some days I come in with no motivation or distracted but Amy helps me motivate me.

Continuation of The Heart Filled With 1.)Progress: This week, after cutting the pieces, I sanded and shaped them. I then pick out a picture to glue on the inside. The next step after this is to glue everything together. 2.) Something that went well:  I think putting it together is going well. I mean it's not perfect but it doesn't need to be as long as I try. 3.) Something that I struggled with:  I struggled at first with the sand but I have gotten used to it so I'm kinda a pro. 4.) How did I do this week: This I think I did well, there was on day when I didn't have the motivation to work but I pushed through it and got work done.
