This week I was working on the door for Mr. Arthurs softball stuff. I don't usually paint but I think I did good. Beina messed up the "S" so I had to fix it. I think I did the project and precise, it's not perfect but Im trying because when it goes up there is has room 13 name on it so I'm not trying to mess up. I'm kinda on a deadline so hopefully I have it done by next week. One thing I struggle with its trying to paint faster and more precise. I even stayed during lunch to try and get everything done.This week I think I did good, I kinda left Jason to finish the sig. But we will continue the GoKart when we come back from break.

This week I was woring on the handle and rehearsing lines. I didn't make much progress on the chair, but cutting out pieces of wood because I am still thinking about how to design it. I worked on my lines with Justin while he held the paper and said the other persons part, while I just said my lines without looking at the paper. So far I think my lines are going pretty well, I think I have to spend more time working on them. I have to work on the second one more with Andrea because I'm less familiar with them. I made more accurate cuts with the chair which I was pretty happy about because it makes life easier when you do it right the first time. Something I want to work on is staying on track and not get distracted because when I get distracted it masses up my whole though process and it takes more time to redirect me. This week I dont think I did too well, I think I should've kept myself and Jason on task more.

1/14/18 Art Analysis: Alexa Meade "Reverse Trompe-L'Oeil"     Alexa Meade is a well-known artist who is best recognized for her portraits painted directly on the human body having them appear two-deminsional. She calls her style of painting "Reverse Trompe-L'Oeil" because traditional Trompe-L'Oeil tricks the eye into thinking 2-D art is 3-D. This week I worked on the Haunted House. My room is the bug room and it's basically a room that is gonna have the illusion that bug are all over you. So far al I did was brainstorm ideas and take measurements the next step is to go on amazon and see what we need. Something that went well is the ideas that flowed.
